Liard First Nation’s Programs and Services are provided through 8 different departments.
Programs are generally funded through proposals or applications and have a specific focus and time period. For example, a youth event, a series of health workshops, or a rental housing renovation, would each be funded as programs or projects.
Services are typically supported by core funding and help LFN members in their day-to-day lives. For example, providing home care services for Elders; providing support to access income assistance; providing services related to water, sewer, garbage and fire protection; or supporting someone in the legal system, are just a few of the ways in which various LFN departments provide services to our members.
